We were in town for my father in laws services . We were staying at the Santa Maria Inn . We were hungry for pizza and decided to try LaVera Pizzeria . We were pleasantly surprised on how good the pizza was. We ordered a four topping pizza and let me tell you there was plenty of toppings on top. They were not Cincy at all.. It had good flavor. It was very good.. next time we are in town. We will definitely eat there again.! if you're in the area, I would recommend this place or pizza!

I called to place an order on Halloween.. This spot has been here for some time but I've never ordered here. We called a pretty decent sized order in for take out. When I arrived to pick it up the gentleman at the counter was very bland lol. But he was cool whatever. Location is in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking. It was quiet and clean inside which I appreciated. But omg....... When we got home... o..m...g........ this pizza was divine! It was so delicious!!!!!!!!!!! We ate every last piece! I definitely recommend this place to anyone! It was so good!

This place is actually really good. It's on par with Fattes but with better crust. Think it was about 21 bucks for 3 toppings. The pizza was really tasty and the meat was crispy. Honestly one of the better budget pizzas I've had recently. The dudes working were friendly, it was ready when they said it would be, easy parking. I will be back to give it another try.

The employees are very nice but the pizza is AMAZING. I love the combo pizza because the vegetables are always fresh along with the proteins on the pizza! The inside of the restaurant is clean and very much has cute "vibe" if you will.

The employees are always cool, the price/deals are great. Some of the greatest pizza I've had. Crust on pizza is not my favorite but this place has nailed it down and is phenomenal.

I like the place , the service and food. They are very friendly people. And they have a very good taste and love the Greek salad .

Recently tried their pastrami sandwich, and while not traditional, it is awesome. Make sure you eat the peppers with it. Wish they would add them inside the sandwich because the acidity just rounds it all out! Try it!

Pretty decent pizza! The crust is unique in that it is NOT greasy or oily like all the big chain corporate places. It has a little bit of a crunch to it. Really satisfying. Sauce, cheese, and toppings were all fine in quality and quantity. Temperature also fine. (I picked up for take home) I've tried it 3 times before I wrote this review; all 3 times were fine. Saved some for leftovers the next day to see how it reacted. It reheated fine in a small countertop convection oven, then I put the slices on a hot dry pan over a low flame. The crust returned to how it is when I bought it. Very nice. The place seems to be under new ownership or not what past reviews portray it to be. Very small place with 3 or 4 very young hispanic workers running the shop. Not very visible, they are all in the back. The front was unattended for the most part, but I was always greeted and attended right away. Small unassuming, hole-in-the-wall, dive pizza place. Man, I can't get over the nice crust! I will be going back here instead of the corporate chain places because of the crust.

I like the variety of items on the menu but decided to stick with a "normal" pizza. Was super pleased with the size, freshness, quality and amount of toppings. Fed all 3 of us for dinner and breakfast the next day! The pizza actually tasted better the morning after. The house salad was also large enough to share but it was nothing fancy.
